should the bbc have only one channel and make some good progs? Its crap and cost to much

I’v lost count of the number of channels and radio stations thay have and we have to pay or face a fine or prison. This cannot be right

Diversity is appealing, leads to some sort of competition but they do need good programming.What would likely happen if there were only one station is the few good things will be taken off and all of the bad things will remain.
