How do you get into front panel on glass top drop in stove?
Maytag electric glass top. Clock keeps going off. need to check connections. goes back on with pressure to the panel.
Depending on your model there should be a couple of screws, either right in front or on the sides. Take those out and the panel should pop off. They may be under the top so look there if you can’t find them.
The other possibility is the panel is pressure fitted. Push around the panel looking closely and if there’s a spot where it doesn’t move in as much that’s where the tab is. Use a screwdriver to push that in and the panel will come off.
