Does the Delphi XM SkyFi(2) car kit have a bunch of wires running into it?

Just wondering whether I should purchase an XM dash receiver or the Delphi XM SkiFI2 car kit. I would want to buy the Delphi but not if the dash of my car will have all these wires running into the cig lighter thing and the antenna. Thanks!
