How can I gig with a small tube amp?

I’m on a tight budget so I can’t afford much equipment. But, I use a small 5w tube amp. It gets plenty loud, especially with my tube overdrive I use on it.

If you have a line out (best) or a headphone out you could plug the amp directly into the P.A. system. The “tube amp sound” will still translate to the P.A. Amp. It’d just be like using a 100 watt tube amp. As long as the tone is good.
Using headphone out is a little dicey, because it’s a “powered” signal, unlike a line out which is a passive signal, so with a headphone out you’d need to turn your volume down ont he amp so you don’t overdrive the input to the P.A. and get a distorted signal in.

Just putting a mic in front of it would lose a lot of the ambient sound from the amp itself and would sound thin and weak.
