Is there any difference in using 10 log and 20 log to do a conversion?

I’m studying antenna right now.One of the notes example showed that using 10 log to do a conversion and the symbol will be given as dB or dBm, 20 log to do a conversion and the symbol will be given as dBu.
Is it a fomula or is there something wrong with the examples?
