What type of extension cord needed for Plasma TV?

Do I need some heavy-duty type? What do I look for?

Your TV and other audio/video gear should be plugged into a good surge protector. If you can’t reach a wall receptacle with the surge protector’s cable, you might get by with an extension cord (as short as possible) consisting of 16/3 wire (3 conductors of 16 gauge) and a 3-prong plug and receptacle. 14 or 12 gauge is better if you can find it, but 16 will do. Easy to find at your hardware store.

If you go with such an extension cord, don’t plug anything else into it and operate other stuff at the same time–just your surge protector.

Duty Gear For Cops

Duty gear refers to the equipment used by police officers for defence. It is essential for the police to have the right type of equipment while they are on duty as the police rely on this duty gear for their safety and security. A large number of products are included as part of duty gear.
