Anybody in heavy duty mechanics or millwright?

Im deciding.
Thinking about getting my heavy duty mechanic ticket along with my millwright and if all goes well a third ticket for welding.
Im in Canada but any of these workers do you like your job and is their a good enough demand?
I know the pay is quite nice but is it quite hard?
I know its not an easy clean job.

It’s VERY tough, physically. Was an industrial millwright for 13 years. If you’re young, you’ll come out with a Marines physique! You probably should look into it because the demand for applicants will be very high! Most young people are shying away from laborious work. The pay scale should increase in proportion to the demand! As long as you don’t have to deal with an idiot boss(a toughy) you can write your own ticket! Best to you! ;-) =

Heavy snow plow, what's yours?

So you're interested in a heavy-duty sweeper ? Do not use in your driveway hope.

Assess your team for the right job. Do not use a 6-foot plow to plow a commercial parking lot or road. "Sweepers high resistance "is a variety declaration, in general, and has to be a little more defined. I would not say that a plow 7 feet in a half ton truck is not resistant, but not the kind of heavy-duty snowplows for some jobs.

heavy duty snowplows are used for commercial parking and roads and paths.
Everything has to do with pressure, frequency and weight. These are the forces are overcoming these large plows. Enough to look at the difference in the plow, start with a look at the structure, the steel on the supports, the area of the supports behind the mold board, look at the size of cylinders, hydraulic lines, rebound springs, and cutting edges.

Most collection might not even pick up these plows, not to mention plow with them. These plows are designed for front axle of 12,000 pounds or more. You have to remember is one thing to plow a driveway at 10 mph with a foot plow 6-7 is another to plow one lane of Highway 12 'to 45 mph hit all kinds of expansion joints and patches of ice. These plows are continuously under tension there is where is the frequency and harmonious vibration and shock that can easily bend steel, welds break and fold the cut edges.

So when companies like Wausau, Snog, Frink America, Viking-Cives make these plows design elements and workload in mind. Some of the designs Heavy snow plows have are these: a way plows, reversible plows, v plows, wing plows, plows bull nose. Let's not forget the runway and plowed need maintain a clear airport.

Thus, the reason for writing this is to try to give a better understanding of exactly what a heavy snowplow it really is. I see a lot of people trying to sell calling snowplows and heavy-duty and not in my opinion. Like a 69 Camaro and a Camaro Super Sport 69 are not same. A sweep and a sweep of high resistance are not the same. But at least this article gives you some information to go outside when looking for a heavy or light right snowplow. You basically want to match the right plow for the right job is hard work and if you need to make sure to get it. Ask the person is selling the plow and saying that is highly resistant to show that the difference between hard work and regular sweeper
