Why do people treat different colored Labs like they are different breeds?
Now people can do this with any breed, but with Labrador Retrievers in particular people seem to treat Chocolate, Yellow, Black, or some other color that isn’t even recognized like it is a different breed from other Labs.
Is there really any difference? Isn’t it just color?
Well I had to make sure there was a real question int he somewhere, since my “why” questions have been deleted.
People seem to think the different colors have different personalities, which is impossible because all three colors can be born in the same litter. It just like how people think redheads are more “fiery”.
Some people think brown Beardies are more stubborn because they are “redheads” but having owned both a stubborn black and a stubborn brown, I can tell you for a fact there is no difference.
