The Capacitance is represented by Ci and Inductance is Li why is the electrical numbering system complex?
Using complex math (with a real and imaginary component) is just a way to represent 2 different dimensions of a number.
The impedance of a Resistor is not frequency-dependent and is considered the “real” portion of the component.
The impedance of a pure Inductor or Capacitor is frequency-dependent and is considered the “imaginary” portion of the number.
Xc = 1/jwC
Xl = jwL
For an inductor:
V = L dI/dt
For a capacitor:
I = C dV/dt
An AC Voltage or AC current is typically represented in polar coordinates with an amplitude component and a phase component.

This meter is designed specifically to measure the impedance parameters as inductance (L), capacitance (C) and resistance (R) with high accuracy. Ideal suitable for testing components in factories, laboratories, etc..
The LCR meter operates in the range of 75kHz to 30MHz with a frequency resolution 100Hz. Signal level range is 5mV to effective measurement range 2V. The LCR meter impedance, capacitance and inductance are, respectively, 0.01? to 10M?, 0.1pF to 100 ° F and 0.1nH at 100MH.
Other measurable parameters for this LCR meter include dissipation factor, quality factor, conductance, reactance, susceptance and phase angle. The current range of configurable bias current source is 0 to10. In addition, optional configurations include slot clip clip, clip crocodile, and SMD clip.
