I’m thinking about buying a Palomar 225 10 meter amplifier for my Cobra 25 CB radio. Is it worth it?

I have a nice CB in my car and was going to add this amplifier to boost it. Was also wondering if it needs “matched” at all to the CB or if it’s just a quick add on/install to my rig. The person I was looking to buy it from says no it doesn’t need matched. Just wire it to the battery and plug the rig to it. Is that true? I have a k40 antenna and I’m assuming it will handle the power. Thanks for the advice.

Current source is defined as any electrical device that sends or absorbs current.A power source provides a constant current, provided the load connected to the source terminal has an impedance low enough.
