Hi there building a timber deck for a friends house. need to sorce specs on timber sizes and span for this project. size of deck aprox 3m wide by 4m long counter leved 1.8m. concrete piles can be used up to 2m from end of landing?

Building codes don’t allow much if any cantilevering today, due to the poor quality of lumber today. You need to check your local building codes. You may have to use engineered lumber.
