Performance Military

There is no doubt that our servicemen and women who are serving in Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as other locations around the world, are performing a service that can never be measured or repaid. I have the greatest appreciation for these brave heroes. Unfortunately, we know the battles that members of the armed forces face do not end when they leave enemy territory. Depression, posttraumatic stress disorder, long separations and readjustment to civilian life all take their toll on military families. The sad truth is that the military divorce rate is higher than that for the general population.
In 2007, 3.7% of married Marines got divorced, up 0.4% from the previous year. For the Army population, the numbers rose from 3.3% to 3.5% in the same period of time. The numbers constitute the highest divorce rate in sixteen years. And, veterans’ groups believe these statistics underestimate the divorce rate as they don’t account for divorces that occur after a husband or wife leaves the service or marriages that are on the brink of dissolution.
Military divorces involve factors that are not usually found in civilian situations. For instance, under Texas law, divorce proceedings may be placed on hold for the entirety of a deployment and sixty days after the soldier’s return home. And generally, Federal laws will not divide property to a military’s members spouse unless the marriage has lasted for at least ten years of active duty. In addition, lengthy time spent overseas can be used as an argument when determining parental custody rights.
If you are in the military or a military spouse and you believe your circumstances have led to the need for a military divorce, you need to make sure that you are aware of the laws that apply specifically to you and you need to speak to a Austin military divorce lawyer, a Houston military divorce attorney or San Antonio Military divorce lawyer. If youâ € ™ re like most people, a weight scale is the only tool used to determine if your training plan is working. But maybe youâ € ™ re more advanced than most, using more detailed body measurements like body fat and the size of the shoulders, hips, chest, legs, arms, etc. However, you may lose a key source of information useful fitness: performance evaluations.
Coaches and athletes have used performance evaluations for decades to control whether your training is having the intended results. This information helps them make changes useful to the program's progress continuously make changes when necessary. By continually monitoring their progress, they are able to predict the performance future indicate weaknesses, better measure and evaluate the success of their training, and provide the necessary motivation to continue.
Many athletes are forced to satisfy their need for competition, even when they ™ € not return this season. Performance assessments allow them to compete against themselves, like many people do to lose weight, gain strength and reach your fitness goals. So how can use the performance evaluations to reach new levels of fitness and health?
Leta € ™ s take Average Joe, for example. Average Joe Hasna € ™ t worked for years but recently decided to get in shape. He puts on a diet and fitness plan and gets to work. He lost weight in the first weeks, but then the scale stops moving € | in fact, is a couple pounds though that hea € ™ s doing the same exercise and healthy eating. Appalled, her routine begins to break and soon, HEA € ™ s back to where you started.
If the average Joe had been testing the performance evaluation periodically, may have prevented the failure. What many people donâ € ™ t realize is that muscle weighs more than fat. This simple fact confuses people who depend entirely on the weight scale for measure results. Performance tests have shown that your workouts Average Joe continued to improve their representatives and times, keeping him motivated despite what the weight scale, he said. Equally important, he would have realized that I needed to change your routine if your test results weren ™ € t improvement.
Here are some guidelines for the incorporation of performance evaluation tests on your training:
Performance Evaluation Tests
The best source useful for testing the performance evaluation is the U.S. Army. These tests donâ € ™ t require a luxurious equipment and thereâ € ™ s tons of useful information about the test results based on age and gender. Here are just a few:
- Curl Max 2-Minutes
- Max Sit-Ups in 2 Minutes
- Max Pull Ups
- 1.5-Mile Run Time
Tracking results
Performance evaluation tests are only useful if you keep a careful full results. Ideally, you have to repeat the same conditions of each test, which means that he must rest the same amount before each test, the test is in the same time of day, and under the same conditions as the previous test. Benchmark every four weeks, can provide useful information, helping to assess whether their current training program is really working.
Setting Objectives
Goal setting is as important as the performance evaluation tests. How do you know when youâ ™ €'ve arrived if not set a destination in the first place? Before their first performance evaluation test, set a goal of where you want to be. If you are looking Military standards Physical Fitness Test, youâ € ™ ll find PFT score cards for the different branches of the armed forces. Go and try to hit hardcore rules Navy Seal, if you can! Write youâ € ™ re objectives and compare each of their performance evaluation tests, adjust as necessary.
