Can i mix dead plants with soil?

my garden is all completely dead, i want to plant new stuff
can i cut these dead plants and mix them with the soil to make the soil better?
or i should just get rid of them?

It depends on how fine you cut them. If they are too big, they will mold and will be detrimental to your garden. If you don’t feel like pulling them all out, rent a till and till them up into the soil.

Call water crystals, each of these free-flowing, white polymer granules absorb and store 400 times its weight Inwater. Since each granule swells when immersed in water, becomes a gel-like substance that contains that stores and releases water to plants.
