I want an mp3 play that has built-in speakers for listening to downloaded radio from my home country. Ideas?

I want to use it to listen to while I am working in the house or garden so don’t care how bulky the thing is (within reason) but cost does matter to me. Everything on the market seems aimed at kids who want music on the go but I hate earphones in my ears (they give me earache and are not practcical while working). I do want a battery one otherwise I can’t use it in the garden. Is there not something on the market that is the size of a small transitor radio with built-in speaker?
