anyone here ever passed the amateur radio licence test?

how many questions, is it timed, was it very difficult, where did you get yoiu study material? what does it cost, how often do you have to renew it.

I have my license. A test session costs $14. Study materials can be ordered from the ARRL website, and found online as well. The Techincian class test is 35 questions with no time limit. If you want priveleges below 30 Mhz, you will have to take a 5 word per minute Morse Code test.
