can one keyboard and mouse logitech receiver work for another logitech model?

can one keyboard and mouse logitech receiver work for another logitech model? like say i broke my receiver for a mk 700 , so is it possible for me to use a receiver from a wave pro or something as a replacement for my mk 700? im trying to get a replacement on ebay, but idk which one to get. thanks.

I haven’t tried this for a while, but it used to be that Logitech made three frequencies so that you grab the first 3 off the pile and set them up and everything worked fine, nowadays though it seems that frequencies got changed so there aren’t as many and they may all be on the same frequency.
