The Donauturm is a 252 meter tower overlooking Donaupark, UNO City, and Vienna. It was built in 1964. An elevator will take one to the top where is a cafe, and a restaurant for a small fee and both of them revolve. Those are frequently full, especially in the evening, but one can still catch the view from a lower observation level. On a clear afternoon one stands a good chance of seeing from the Alps to Hungary. If one would like to take in the lights of the city, the observation deck is open until midnight. On the way up and, as well as, on the way down one can look up through a glass plate in the ceiling of the elevator car and watch the world fall away in just 35 seconds. At the top of the tower is a giant red tilde (~) shape that rotates around the television antenna, which is the symbol of Bank Austria.
The Danube Tower has been part of the Vienna skyline for the last 35 years. It was built as the top attraction of the international horticultural show in Vienna. The Danube Tower is 252 meters high. By climbing 776 steps and passing 58 little platforms, one can get to the observation platform at 150 metros.
It is, of course, less strenuous if one takes the lift up, which will get one up to this height in just 35 seconds. Up there, a unique panorama over Vienna awaits one. The view from the Danube Tower is particularly impressive by night. Every day until midnight, one can treat oneself to this pleasure, which the famous Austrian singer Rainhard Fendrich asks about in his song “Have you ever seen Vienna by night?”At the heights of 160 und 170 meters are 2 revolving restaurants, powered by 2 motors each. One can enjoy the unique view over Vienna, as well as sample the delicious Viennese cuisine at the same time.
The Vienna Donauturm was created by architect Hannes Lintl in the course of the Viennese International Horticultural Show. Since then it has become a part of the Viennese skyline and has become a popular lookout point and a tourist attraction. It is situated in the middle of the Donaupark, which was built to host the horticultural fair in Vienna’s 22nd District, Donaustadt, near the northern bank of the Danube. It is one of the tallest buildings in Vienna. The platform also bears a bungee site, used at times during summer. Two rotating restaurants one at a height of 160 and the second one at 170 meters offer a varied view over the Austrian capital. It takes the platform either 26, 39 or 52 minutes per revolution. The more daring person can enjoy a spectacular view while plunging into the sky of one of Vienna’s highest buildings. Since 2000 the Danube tower features the highest bungee center of the world.
The Danube Tower also carries antennas of cellular phone networks, private VHF radio stations and several other radio communication services. Despite its similarity to TV towers elsewhere, however, it is not used for TV broadcasting – the major TV transmitter for the Vienna area is situated on Kahlenberg.

Bass Fishing Tips Largemouth From Ole Codger
Imagine this scene: The setting sun just dropped below the distant tree line, the water
calm and a light breeze is blowing. Upon reaching the tackle box to pick up something
catches your attention, a whirlpool in the water for close to a tree fallen. Quickly remove a
Carolina rigged plastic worm and fit on the line. The lure causes soft feel on
three feet beyond where you saw the troubled water. A few turns on the reel and … Zap! A guy hits the lure.
The adrenaline starts pumping through of his body. The big fish breaks the surface and then
dives back under-pulling hard.
The excitement of connecting a porter, a largemouth bass, no alike. And if you're new to the low
fishing or an old timer like me, memories of past catches fly before the guitar have been a challenge eyes.Largemouth fishing for more years than anyone can remember. Its
range covers most of North America so you do not have to travel far to have the opportunity get a trophy.
There was a time a fisherman around the lake was carried a cane pole and a traditional soup can full of
red worms.
fisherman Today's low is much better equipped: Top of the line of the rod, reel and a dozen or so
assorted lures of all sizes shapes and colors. His ship bass has a GPS locator, depth and
Marine VHF radio so you can keep up with what's happening around the lake.
If you are a new one or an experienced angler semi-pro, there's always something missing in their education. Upon entry into department stores and sports shops and look over the art. Not fall into the category and lures fishing related gear so you know what attracts to buy, so it is best to cope with? Nope. You're on your own. And no it comes with an instruction manual.
Still fishing, good technique begins with knowing how to cast any lure you plan to use.
Here are a few basictips can help you:
• In water or on shore, select a position based on water clarity.
Get too close and that sly old bastard will see you and get the hell out. Just be close enough to be accurate in the placement of the lure.
• Try to maintain a point a couple of feet beyond your goal so that the resonance is not afraid too.
• Practice casting with a history low. Use gun or throw underhand. Keep
under water, especially in windy conditions to prevent side slipping.
• If there is wind, tighten the relay to keep the line taught before the lure splashing in. You do not want the wind blowing in the line of thick reeds or over-hanging branches.
• Before releasing the casting bait 8 to 10 inches from the tip of the push rod.
• It's all in the wrist. Use very little arm and shoulder movement to make the deal.
• Use a bar that is fairly rigid, but with some flex in the latest of several inches.
As Over time I will post other articles that cover much more information. There are many factors to consider to get really good at bass fishing, as is the best bass lure
different circumstances, what color works best attraction in turbid waters, where they find great
them when the weather begins to turn wrong. You can get an education in bass fishing as I did
