Voltage Inert

Surge protectors are developed to protect electronic devices from the effect of power surges and spikes. These devices come in different types ranging from the most basic power strips to surge protectors for a whole house.Surge protector is an electric device that protects electric appliances from being damaged due to voltage spikes. It is capable of maintaining safe threshold of voltage running through electric devices. Most surge protectors feature multiple outlets. These are ideal for a computer setup requiring different devices like printers, scanners, routers, laptops and other gadgets which need a lot of outlet to plug them into one power source all together.
A sudden increase of voltage more than the normal level of electricity is called a power surge. For example in the United States, the normal voltage is 120 volts. If it reaches more than that, it may lead to serious damage to your appliances. Another cause of a power surge is a lightning strike near a power line that can generate too much electricity and can cause immediate harm to electronic devices. A surge protector is therefore needed to prevent this from occurring.
There are some basic things which you need to know in order for you to understand better how surge protectors work. A surge occurs when an increase of voltage lasts three nanoseconds or more while a spike can last for one to two nanoseconds. If the level of a surge or spike is too high, it will cause damage to machines. In some instances, no damage takes place. However, it will cause too much strain on the parts of your machine thus lessening its lifespan. If a power surge or spike occurs, the surge protector redirects the excess electricity to the grounding wire of an outlet and maintains the acceptable level of current flowing to the electric appliances.
There are different kinds of surge protectors today in the market. A common type is the MOV or metal oxide varistor. This device includes a metal oxide material which is connected to the grounding line through a semiconductor. The semiconductor serves as a variable resistance. When electricity is below the standard level, it creates a high resistance through the electrons. When there is an increase of voltage, the electrons will create a low resistance.
Another type of surge protector is the gas discharge arrestor. It has a tube which works similar to the MOV. It controls the electricity level with the use of an inert gas which serves as a conductor. During a power surge, the excess power would be enough to ionize the gas rendering it a good conductor. Because of this, it is capable of passing the extra power to the ground line until electricity is normalized.
As an added security, surge protectors are equipped with a fuse. The fuse will serve as a resistor. When a sudden increase of current happens and the surge protector was not able to divert the extra current to the ground line, the fuse will burn. This cuts the circuit and prevents further harm to your appliances.
Nowadays, electronic devices like computers, home appliances and entertainment systems are made up of micro chips or smaller parts which are highly sensitive to sudden changes of the supply of electricity. These electronic gadgets need to be supplied with a stable power so they can work properly. Thus, the use of a surge protector is essential because surges and spikes come about everyday and they’re sometimes unnoticed.
When choosing the surge protector for your electronic devices, it’s crucial to look for a reliable system which can give utmost protection for your valuable devices. Here are the basic specifications which you must look for:
- Sufficient outlets to accommodate your devices.
- It should have a built in fuse as an added protection.
- It should have an individual on/off switch for each of your devices.
- UL-1449 rating to ensure it has proper quality control and testing.
- It should have an LED so that you will know if it is working or not.
- Higher rate of total energy dissipation.
- Lower clamping voltage
- A higher joule rating is recommended.
- Lesser response time. Less than 10 nanoseconds are better.
- Warranty for damages to any connected equipment using the device.
There are also surge protectors for an entire house. These devices are installed directly to the electric meter. They generally cost around $300 and need to be installed by a licensed electrician.

Fusion occurs when light collides with atomic nuclei to combine together to form heavier atomic nuclei, releasing a huge amount of energy. For fusion reactions to take place is needed and the confinement kinetic energy of collisions achieve the required rate. Nuclear fusion reactions has an energy density many times greater than nuclear fission. Nuclear fission uranium-235 and plutonium-239 produces more radiation hazards and radioactive waste conventional nuclear fusion neutron participation of deuterium and tritium, and neutron conventional nuclear fusion produces more neutrons than a merger aneutronic nuclear involvement of boron hydrides, helium-3 and lithium hydrides, the products are not radioactive waste helium-4. The release of two million times more energy than chemical reactions.
The Fuser Crossfire is a nuclear fusion reactor designed by Moacir L. Ferreira Jr. for the fusion of nuclei atomic to produce huge amounts of energy without pollution and neutron safely.
This fusion reactor consists of six superconducting magnets arranged to form a magnetic cusp region where positive ions are injected. In the magnetic cusp region voltage is applied negative and at the opposite end of each magnet applies a positive voltage. The ions are accelerated electrostatically to the negative potential that passes through the cusp magnetic reached inside the chamber where the ions are confined by magnetic fields for radial and longitudinal electric fields, which is imprisonment three dimensions. The ion injection done continuously around the region for a magnetic cusp injection of three dimensions. Limits positive voltage that allows only the reactive products of fusion reactions to escape.
The ions are injected with high energy kinetics (600KeV), but in small quantities, and calculations are made for electric and magnetic fields to confine the ionized plasma, keeping it away the chamber walls.
The Fuser CrossFire was based on star polyhedra, accelerated electrostatically to the edges internally reactive power and exhaust products in the peripheral vertices having overcome the confinement of the electric fields.
Although this reactor uses an acceleration electrostatics, as Farnsworth € "Hirsch Fusor, it doesn t ™ € have a central system because of the losses. Then, the ions, electrostatic acceleration, can reach the kinetic energy of high energy expression. Furthermore, no recirculation of the electrons to induce excessive electromagnetic radiation.
Due to the use of electrostatic acceleration, the Fuser Crossfire is able to blend, not only fuels conventional, such as deuterium-tritium fuel but also aneutronic as boron hydrides, helium-3 and lithium hydrides. Fusion reactions release Aneutronic million times more energy than fossil fuels, emit almost no neutrons and products of the reaction is mostly helium-4 that is safe and clean.
The products of the fusion reaction are positive charges can be deflected by magnetic and electric fields. After conversion to electricity is relatively simple. The conversion is performed during the neutralization by a positive voltage to slow down and a cannon electrons to neutralize. The electron current and voltage equals the power (P = PV-I).
Fuser CrossFire offers solutions for two problems that are common to nuclear fusion:
1. Ionic saturation, the excess of ions in the chamber, which could be solved by a magnet superconductor stronger, decreasing the specific ionization of the plasma and have a proper escape mechanism.
2. Electromagnetic radiation losses, which could be reduced by coating internal reflection to reflect electromagnetic radiation back to Plasma.
The advantages of the CrossFire Fuser over other approaches to fusion are:
1. Three-dimensional injection and delivery, to increase the likelihood and rate of fusion reactions.
2. Escape mechanism, which reduces the ionic saturation and instability of energy, and allows both to efficiency, propulsion and power generation.
3. A method for the conversion of electricity that can exceed 95% efficiency.
4. Simple and consistent calculations, which give a reasonable degree of predictability.
As an alternative source of energy, the fusion reactor might replace the 10 billion tons / year of fuel carbon dioxide fossils only 7600 tonnes / year of clean gas, helium is inert, safe and light, which can dramatically reduce the global warming problem.
