An ambitious lawyer and real estate heir, Harmond Wilks, has the dream of redeveloping African American Hill District of Pittsburgh. He wants convert the neighborhood that is in ruins in a sophisticated area with a high-rise building and a chain of stores. The team with his friend Roosevelt Hicks, who was recently appointed as vice president of Mellon Bank. Both plan a redevelopment project.

During this time, Wilks decides to run for the post of mayor of Pittsburgh. But when some dark secrets are revealed in an old mansion in Wylie, rehabilitation and Harmond dreams of becoming a mayor severely beaten. Will capable of becoming the first black mayor of Pittsburgh? Will it transform your neighborhood? Or break the will of his black past and pursue his dreams forever?

"Radio Golf" is all about community development. It's a story that reminds you about the responsibility of every citizen to his community. August Wilson, in his work, wants to tell his audience that the transformation of the neighborhood can be achieved only when someone cares enough to take the initiative to do something about it. Once someone starts, others will follow.

"Radio Golf" is the last sequence of Wilson 10-play cycle, written after each decade. August Wilson has won the Pulitzer Prize and has a deep understanding of African American lifestyle.

"Radio Golf" is produced by Margo Lion, Jujamcyn Theaters, Jeffrey Richards, Jerry Frankel, Fran Kirmse, Tamara Tunie, Lauren Doll, Bunting Management Group, Wonder City, Georgia Fontiere / Open Pictures, Inc. / Townsend League, Gordon Davidson, and Jack Viertel.

David Gallo, Tony Award winner, has created the series, Susan Hiferty, which is also a Tony Award winner, has designed the costumes, Donald Holder, again a Tony Award winner, has made the lighting arrangements, and Dan Moses Schreier, has provided sound effects for the game.

"Radio Golf "has humor, has emotion and suspense, shows the ambition of a person's past and how one can create a conflict in contemporary life.

It not any other Broadway show, but part of the investigation of Wilson's African American culture. It gives a reflection of the 20th century and also tells about how fleets of ships carrying African slaves used to dock in Virginia.

"Radio Golf" premiered at Yale Repertory Theater in 2005. Subsequently, demonstrated in the West Coast in Los Angeles Mark Taper Forum. The series was produced in October 2006 by the Huntington Theater Company located in Boston. He turned to producing in 2007 by McCarter Theater.
